Cristiano Ronaldo headed in a goal for the fourth time this season against Athletic, a goal that would make him the active Liga player who has scored the most headers in the last two seasons. The Real striker has netted 11 times this way, followed by Llorente with 10 and Negredo and Falcao with nine each; his closest Real teammate is Sergio Ramos with six headers.
Xabi Alonso laid off the pass for that Cristiano Ronaldo headed in for the 0-2 against Athletic. To date three Real players have given the Portuguese forward the assist for a header: Özil and Di Maria, with two passes each, are the players that have helped Cristiano Ronaldo the most in this regard.
